Knee Knackerer Training Program - 1999

 

After much therapy and counseling from a mental breakdown due to the enormous responsibility of Training Run Co-ordinator 1998, I have delegated this job to Rod Hatfull this year. Rod is training to become a psycologist, so this job hopefully will not have a similar effect on him!

Below is the schedule of the 1999 training runs. Please note the place and time for each Sunday morning run. These runs are a friendly way to get to know your fellow trailrunners and the Knee Knacker course. Be prepared to buddy-up (run with a partner) to minimize search and rescues. Anyone can participate. You don’t have to be in Knee Knacker ’99, so bring a friend or partner that wants to try trailrunning. Out of town runners welcome!

Location of Meeting Places

  1. Grouse Mtn. – Top of Nancy Green Way in North Vancouver. Meet in the lower Grouse Mtn. Parking lot.
  2. Cleveland Dam – On the left going up Nancy Green Way, just past the Fish Hatchery.
  3. Deep Cove – Panorama parking lot, downtown Deep Cove.
  4. Lynn Canyon – Lynn Canyon Suspension Bridge parking lot – off Lynn Canyon Rd., North Vancouver. Look for the signs on the right.
