The saga continues this spring/summer!
After over 60 years of use, the Lions Gate Bridge finally started getting a facelift last year. The project has dragged on for over a year now, with no definite end in sight.
This is one of 2 bridges connecting the North Shore of Vancouver to the rest of the Lower Mainland. Traffic will be disrupted with many overnight closures, and possibly some full weekend closures. Traffic will be detoured to the Ironworkers' Memorial Second Narrows Bridge during these necessary closures of the bridge.
