| This year's N.U.T.S. trail work party will be held on Saturday, June
5, at 9:00 a.m. Entry into the Knee Knacker also makes you a member of the
Northshore Ultra Trailrunning Society (N.U.T.S.). All helpers
are welcome however regardless of being entered in the race or not. Please bring a friend.

| When | Saturday June 5, 2004 @ 9:00 a.m. |
| What | This year, the Kneeknacker's legacy of community work continues on Saturday, June 5, as we return to the McKay Creek section of the Baden Powell Trail for a day's work. Everyone is encouraged to come out for a few hours to help move dirt, rocks, build bridges, and tackle other problems. Like how to hammer a spike into a post without hitting your thumb! |
| Where | Meet at Grouse Mountain parking lot. |
| Bring |
Treats and coffee will be provided by Delany's. Please bring other food and drinks that will keep you going for at least 4 hours. Be sure to have a good breakfast. |
| How Long | The fun starts at 9am at the gravel parking lot on Grouse Mountain. If you miss us at the start, simply head east on the Baden Powell Trail until you come across a bunch of runners dressed as civil engineers! |
| Supplies | Tools and
materials will be provided by the District of North Vancouver. We
may have gloves available but please bring your own gloves and
appropriate clothing. You will be getting dirty. If you have a
favourite tool, you're welcome to bring it but make sure it is marked with
your name. If you have buckets, picks, shovels, and hammers, bring them
too, just in case we run out of hardware.
Also, please contact Andrew if you have a chainsaw and can bring it (along with yourself as the operator, of course). |
