Hello! With just 2 days, 9 hrs & a bunch of minutes to go,
we’re heading into the final stretch… !
The course looks good – the hot weather has been great for
the snow melt & thanks go to a number of volunteers, the District of West Van.,
Cypress & BC Parks for the tree clearing/maintenance over the last 2 weeks.
A few reminders:
- Race packet pickup
is at North Shore Athletics from 5:30pm – 8:00pm Thursday, July 12th
and Friday, July 13th. There is no race day packet pickup &
the Race Briefing on Friday at 7:00pm is mandatory for all first time
runners.
- 3 Buses
are available from Deep Cove to the Start Line – 4:40am, 4:50am & 5:00am
sharp. We highly recommend you take the bus, but if your friends and family
want to come to the start line, we do have permission to park in the Kiewit
lot approximately 1km from the start. Please respect the neighbours &
remember there is NO parking in the immediate vicinity of the start line.
- Rest, keep hydrated & please thank the volunteers…
