1. West on the Baden Powell trail up through the British Properties to Millstream Rd/Craigmohr Dr.
2. Continue straight on the Baden Powell trail across Millstream Rd., up the stairs, and continue for another 15-30 minutes to the lower Brother's Creek bridge and waterfall.
3. Cross the bridge, continuing on the Baden Powell trail for another 5 minutes or so until you come to a wide gravel road.
4. Go right and uphill (still on the Baden Powell trail) for another couple of minutes until the road re-enters the woods at a junction with the Skyline/Trans-Canada trail.
5. Continue straight, following the "BP" trail markers uphill through the forest.  This is the Hollyburn Chute.
6. When you come to an intersection with the Crossover trail, continue straight on the Baden Powell. 
7. After 20 - 30 minutes of climbing the Chute, the trail comes out to a large open area.  This is the West Lake Plateau.
8. Retrace your steps back to Cleveland Dam.

Note: Typically, you'll run into snow on this route at this time in the season well before you get to the West Lake Plateau or sometimes even the Crossover trail intersection.  Go as far as you can before the trail becomes completely snow-covered and retrace your steps from that point.
